Do blocks get propagated in parallel or “one by one”?
In the Bitcoin gossip mechanism, when a node receives and validates a new block, does it upload it to its peers (after a getData message) sequentially or in parallel?
It seems that doing it sequentially will propagate the block faster in some cases, i.e when the time to transmit a block is significantly larger than the RTT. In other cases, it will be slower due to large propagation delay.
